Renowned speaker and higher education leader Walter Kimbrough, Ph.D., will deliver the keynote address at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµâ€™s celebration of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy on Friday, Jan. 17. 

Strayhorn to lead Georgia Southern MLK Celebrations

As part of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµâ€™s annual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr., the Office of Inclusive Excellence will host guest speaker Terrell Strayhorn, Ph.D., the vice provost and interim dean of the School of Arts & Sciences at Virginia Union University.

¾«¶«Ó°Òµ to help eligible student-parents offset the cost of childcare with $1.6 million grant

¾«¶«Ó°Òµ has been awarded a $1.6 million grant to help provide childcare subsidies for eligible student-parents over the next four years through the Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) program.

Georj Lewis, Ed.D., to speak at annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

¾«¶«Ó°Òµ will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. with events including a keynote speaker, an educational trip to Atlanta and participation in both the Savannah and Statesboro MLK parades.
