Terms and conditions:
I offer a number of services included in my products. Please see the T&C's for each item and service below:
a) Consultation –
Consultations start at the time we arrange and are conducted over Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom. If you are running late or need to reschedule, please kindly inform me at the latest 1 hour before our session starts so that we can make other arrangements.
During the consultation I will ask you a number of questions, feel free to answer honestly and authentically. There is no obligation to continue working together after the consultation and I won't be in anyway upset if you decide not to go forward! This is all about you!
b) Yoga Classes –
Consult your doctor before beginning any new exercise program.
Please wear comfortable, sports clothing and have your own mat and any blankets or blocks that you feel you may need with you. We start on time, at the time we arrange between us. It is common practice in a yoga class to leave your mobile phone either outside or switched off ... yoga is better without distractions!
With the online or in person teaching, it is up to you, the individual, to assess whether you are ready for the movements shown. Whilst modifications are always offered, I trust you to know your body and to be able to stop and rest when needed ... if we are practicing in person, just let me know if you are struggling and (if I haven't already noticed) I will immediately accommodate you!
Obviously, if you suffer from specific injuries or disease it is best to consult with your physician before attempting any new physical practice. I am not a licensed medical care provider and hereby state that I have no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition. Similarly, if you are pregnant, follow recommended practice only.
The practice of yoga asanas requires you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is better to build up slowly than to force and strain.
Yoga can be challenging but in this challenge you should also feel relaxed, be able to breathe and feel no pain!
The techniques and suggestions presented are not intended to substitute for proper medical advice.
I can assume no responsibility for any injuries suffered while practicing these techniques.
c) Photo Shoot –
During our photo shoot, I will safely move you into a number of positions that we will choose together. I will shoot the images and we will choose an image together to make into your portrait. We will shoot photos until we find one that we both agree on as being a full expression of your wonderful radiance! You will be able to keep the photos and have full rights to use them as you wish, please credit me if using them publicly. I will have the right to use them for the purposes of portrait creation and for marketing, unless expressed otherwise by you.
If, once the time slot for our session has elapsed, we are unable to agree on a photo or you feel that I have not represented you in the best way possible, it will then be your responsibility to procure a photograph and send it to me digitally. Unfortunately, I can accept no responsibility for portraits made using photos that have not been taken by me and will not be able to offer a refund for these pieces, should one be requested.
e) Your Original Portrait –
Please keep in mind that each original piece is one of a kind and handmade from acrylic paint, earth and soil, so they may have a little more character than store bought, mass produced things.
I choose the best quality materials, then make everything with love and care. But these are handmade and original items, so be prepared for the occasional charming imperfection.
f) Delivery –
All items are carefully packaged and sent via insured, tracked and signed for delivery. I have sent items all over the world and have (so far) had no issues. However, I track each delivery carefully to ensure its safe arrival and if something is damaged due to careless postal handling and I am notified of this within 24 hours of delivery, I will replace the item free of charge.
h) Payments –
Payments should be made after the initial consultation as by this time we will have seen whether we are a great fit for each other and if we would like to proceed or not. I take most debit and credit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. I also take cash should we be in the same place! However, I am unfortunately, unable to take cheques due to the huge charges incurred when banking them.
Please be advised that no further action will be taken to continue with our project until the agreed funds have been deposited and cleared.
Congratulations on taking this next step!
